Dr. N.K Sundareswaran

Dr. N.K Sundareswaran is an ardent lover of Sanskrit and a staunch devotee of Vedic tradition. Presently he is working as professor of Sanskrit in the University of Calicut. He is well-known all-over India as a Teacher, researcher and an orator. As a researcher he has to his credit many research articles and books-both authored and edited-in English, Sanskrit and Malayalam. As a born Teacher, he subscribes to the view that transmittance and inspiration are the characteristics of a best preceptor. He believes that the ultimate result of any kind of academic activity should percolate to the grass roots of society. And accordingly, his talks and writings always go to make silent but clear and meaningful intervention in the society. One could realise the depth of his unswerving devotion to the Vedic culture when he says that he would like to be known as an inheritor of Vedic legacy. He has traditionally performed the adhyayana of taittirīya branch of Krishna Yajurveda.
