Gaumitra Society, a branch of Sree Raghavapuram Sabha Yogam, works for the protection of indigenous cows and the welfare of dairy farmers.
Dairy farmers who is a well-wisher of Sree Raghavapuram Sabha Yogam can join as members.

The Executive Committee, nominated by the Sabha Yogam or elected by the members, directs the activities of the Society. Keeping the objectives in mind the society devises and implements various suitable and practical schemes from time to time.

There are hardly any Dharma Goshalas in Kerala. Most of the the aged or ailing cows are abandoned or sold. The project envisages to stop this cruelty towards animals. To start with, 2.5 acre suitable land is earmarked in Kannur district, Kerala exclusively for establishing a Dharma Goshala. Support is sought from people and companies for setting up the Goshala. There cost is also for maintaining it further. Initial phase can be completed in 3 years. Project will be managed by Gomithra Dept. of SRSY.
