Applications are invited for the post of Senior Public Relations & Fund Mobilization Officer (Vacancy: 01) at Sree Raghavapuram Sabhayogam Trust, Cheruthazham, Kannur, Kerala. The detailed job description is provided below:

Public Relations, Community Engagement & Networking

  • Develop and implement PR strategies to promote the organization’s mission, vision, and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional media, influencers, and community leaders.
  • Represent the organization at public events, forums, and religious/community gatherings.
  • Prepare press releases, newsletters, brochures, social media content, and other PR materials.
  • Handle media queries, crisis communications, and official public statements.
  • Liaise with Hindu religious institutions, temple boards, spiritual leaders, and social organizations to garner support.
  • Foster partnerships with like-minded NGOs, philanthropists, and government bodies.
  • Engage the community through awareness programs, workshops, and events related to the organization’s focus areas.

Project Funding & Resource Mobilization

  • Identify and develop funding opportunities from individuals, corporates (especially CSR wings), trusts, and government schemes.
  • Draft compelling project proposals, funding applications, and concept notes.
  • Coordinate with corporate CSR teams and donors to align project objectives with CSR mandates.
  • Maintain strong donor relations through regular reporting, updates, and acknowledgments.
  • Organize fundraising campaigns, events, and donor engagement programs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Social Work, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in public relations, CSR, fundraising, or social sector projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malayalam.
  • Strong networking, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Cultural sensitivity and knowledge of Hindu Vedic traditions, festivals, and the temple ecosystem in Kerala.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, social media, and digital communication tools.
  • Willingness to travel across Kerala and outside the state, as required.

Desirable Attributes

  • Prior experience working with a religious, cultural, or community-based organization.
  • Familiarity with CSR compliance, 80G/12A/CSR-1 certifications, and project monitoring tools.
  • Passion for community service and heritage conservation.
