The auspicious day of Makara Sankranthi and the start of Utharayana was dedicated to serve the humanity by the organization, in addition to their usual prayers & chantings. The Health and Social Welfare Wing of the Sabhayogam distributed food grains worth Rs. 73000/- to indigent and impoverished section of the society in 11 districts of the Kerala state. 68 families were the direct beneficiaries of the program.
