Guru Vandana & Guru Poornima were celebrated at the Sreeraghavapuram Yajur Veda Patasalas at Ramapadam, Chettur Nalukettu, Trichambaram Naduvilmad RCom and Thottam Samaveda Patasala on 3rd July 2023.
At Ramapadam Patasala, the function was commenced with the prayers by students Sankaran and Vinay. Welcome speach was delivered by Arjun and Navaneeth presided. Patasala Acharya A. Samgamesan Namboodiri explained the importance of Guru Poornima day. Rishikesh gave vote of thanks. In Chettur Nalukettu, students chanted prayers with Veda mantras. Astrologist Sri S P Sankaran Namboodiri explained the importance of Gurupoornima day. Kesavan welcomed the gathering and Madhav gave vote of thanks. Patasala Acharya Sri Keezhanallur Bhavan presided.
At Trichambaram Naduvilmadom Patasala, recently started by the Sabhayogam, on the Gurupoornima day, Sanskrit study was started by Sri Meppally Narayanan Namboodiri. Edavalath Pudayur Jayanarayan Namboodiri explained the importance of Gurupoornima day and the relevance of Guru.
At Thottam Samaveda Patasala, Smt Rukmini engaged the students by reciting slokas and telling good stories and told the students the importance of Gurupoornima day.
