It was previously reported that emergency assistance was provided by the Sreeraghavapuram Sabha Yogam to a family – a grandmother and four children, including two girls – who were left homeless after their single-room rented house collapsed.
We are happy to share that the daughter of this family, Bhuvaneshwari, who had been trapped in Kuwait after falling victim to job fraud and severe abuse, was rescued and brought back home two days ago with the help of the Rakshanam Trust.
A small house was prepared for the children, who have now been reunited with their mother, and a housewarming ceremony was successfully conducted yesterday.
With the liberation of Bhuvaneshwari Amma, this year’s Independence Day has become truly meaningful for us. Inspired by Shriramachandra swami, a protector of the destitute, a shelter was arranged for the half-starved children and their family – making this year’s Karkidakam (a month in the Malayalam calendar) a truly blessed one for us.
Salutations to every noble soul who contributed to these good deeds according to their capacity. Now, may everything go well – the children’s education, a vocational skill for the two older girls who have come of age – with God’s grace and our collective efforts.
