Chenda, maddalam, edikka or mridangam violin etc., are used as percussion. Chenda and Maddalam are preferred for singing Kadhakali Music Concert.

Arranged in the ragas of Natta, Gaula, Arabhi, Varali and Sri, he glorifies various aspects of the Goddess with unflinching devotion.
